Tooth Whitening
Tooth Whitening must be the most successful dental treatment ever devised!
It delivers whiter, brighter teeth in a matter of weeks with minimal problems and side effects.
In more than a decade of providing whitening we have seen few real problems other than transient tooth sensitivity and in the short term uneven results, which usually flatten out with ongoing treatment.
Few patients ask for top-ups in less than two years, and topping up is quick, easy and inexpensive when required.

What it costs
Plan Patients: £250
Private Patients: £300
This includes the provision of upper and lower whitening trays and as much gel as required in the initial course of treatment.
The process involves taking moulds of the teeth and then constructing vacuum-formed 'splints' or 'trays' which fit snugly onto the teeth and hold the gel in position.
As a patient, you then wear the splints for either 60-90 minutes a day or overnight, for usually 4 weeks, although longer wear may be needed if a large colour change is desired.
Once treatment is completed further kits of the gel can be purchased to ‘top up’ the whitening from time to time. Most of our patients find this is needed every 1-2 years and it takes a week.
It is illegal for anyone other than a trained dental professional to carry out tooth whitening since October 2012.
Whitening will not damage or remove any of your tooth structure, so it is a great initial option, even in difficult cases.
We will only use products from reputable companies - at the present Philips, and before that 3M, so you can be sure of their efficacy and safety - can you say the same from products you buy online?
